Residential

In 1997 I was hired by Nielsen Building Systems. from 1997 until September 2005, approximately 65% of my work load was dedicated to NBS Residential Services with the 35% balance on commercial projects. In 2005 I took over from the departing director of NBS Commercial Architectural Services. Because of the additional responsibilities of running the commercial division, I drastically reduced the number of residential commissions that I accepted. While Nielsen Building Systems is a design build firm, NBS did not construct any residential (with the exception of 4 single family homes for Racine Housing and Neighborhood Partnership). Residential services included all phases of design. From programing, preliminarily design, design development, to construction documents. Construction supervision was minimal. At varying times I had draftsman preform drawings on the construction documents under my direct supervision, all other work was preformed by myself.
